With their acquisition of the former PenOp Ltd. patents and product range in October 2000 CIC has become the indisputable market leader for handwritten signature technologies, combining the complementary product ranges from the the two companies. Florentis has established a unique role as CIC's only external development organization. In addition to supporting former PenOp customers and products Florentis has also been commissioned to develop new CIC products and toolkits. The close relationship means that Florentis is uniquely placed to provide expert integration and consultancy services to optimize the development of efficient signature systems built using CIC's products.

Polygnostics are the inventors of Profile Sequencing, a new technology for use in marketing automation software. Florentis were appointed by Polygnostics as software developers, initially contributing to the research and development of the recommendation engine. Subsequent work has comprised the the design of component interfaces and implementation of ActiveX controls which will form part of a forthcoming SDK, and tools have been used to build the first Profile Sequencing application which was completed by Florentis in June 2001.

Nationwide Building Society is proactive in its investigation of new technologies as a means of improving the service it provides to its members. Florentis has been appointed to give consultancy in the design of systems using handwritten signature technology and provides software integration services.

Florentis provide system design, integration and development services for MotionTouch who manufacture a range of high-quality digitizers ideally suited to delivering the quality of data needed for legally binding handwritten signatures. In collaboration, Florentis and MotionTouch are able to offer a complete package of signature system and implementation services.

Interclear provide digital certificate and PKI services, and in December 2000 appointed Florentis to conduct research into the combined use of biometric security devices and PKI.
