Florentis has developed the SignPro range of software products for collecting, handling and verifying handwritten signatures of all types. This range includes ready-to-use products and software development kits.
Ready-to-use Products
SignPro for Microsoft Excel and Word are add-ins that allow you to sign Microsoft Office documents securely. They collect Dynamic Signatures using an electronic signature pad and automatically detect document changes after signing.
SignOff is an application that allows signatures to be collected and handled using Hybrid Signature™ technology. Being stored as standard graphical images the signatures can be used with any application that accepts image files.
Software Development Kits
A range of SDKs is available to allow signature capabilities to be integrated into any application:
- The SignPro SDK includes the essential components for collecting Dynamic Signatures.
- The SignPro LQ Framework extends these capabilities with tools for handling and converting electronic documents.
- SignPro Wizard is a unique tool that allows signature pads that have a built in display to be used as a sophisticated user control.
- The SignPro DSV toolkit allows Dynamic Signatures to be verified using CIC’s excellent iSign toolkit.
- The SignPro SSV SDK is used to verify Static Signatures.

The SignPro SDK gives developers the tools to integrate handwritten signatures into electronic documents. Microsoft Windows ActiveX controls are provided as a simple and language independent integration method demonstrated with Visual Basic and IE Javascript samples

SignOff is an application that allows handwritten signatures to be captured and handled as easily as conventional graphics images. It uses the Hybrid Signature technology.
SignOff is simple to use and will work with almost all existing applications without the need for expensive integration work it can be used out of the box.

The SignPro Dynamic Signature Verification component is used to determine whether a signature matches the signing behaviour of a particular person.
The component is supplied in the form of a Software Development Kit, including the CIC verification engine and technical documentation. Developers can create their own applications using the ActiveX control with a scripting language.

The SignPro Static Signature Verifier is a software component that compares two paper-based handwritten signatures to determine whether they are consistent.
The term "Static Signature" means the graphical image of a handwritten signature. Static signatures are generally obtained by scanning signed paper documents.
Static Signatures should be distinguished from "Dynamic Signatures" which are collected electronically by signing on a suitable Digitizer Tablet. Dynamic signatures record the movement of the pen during the signing process, including the variation of the position and pen pressure with time.

The SignPro Wizard forms part of the SignPro LQ Framework. It is a software component that can be used to get the maximum benefit from inking signature pads, i.e. those that have a built in LCD display, such as the Wacom STU-500.
Conventionally inking signature pads are used to collect handwritten signatures. The Wizard Control allows information to be presented on the screen, and provides buttons, tick-boxes and check-boxes which can be customised and operated by the user during the signing process.
